The NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament will play championship games in Sacramento for the first time in 16 years. The tournament will be in Sacramento from March 27 to March 30, with six games played over four days. The Sweet 16, which is the third round of the tournament, and the Elite Eight, which is the quarterfinal round will be played at Golden One Center, and the winners of those games will move on to the Final Four, played in Phoenix this year. Sacramento basketball fans will have the opportunity to witness two teams move on to the Final Four.
