Old Sacramento icon Evangeline's Costume Mansion celebrates its grand reopening on June 26, 2026, after being closed for nearly a year due to fire damage. Owner Deborah Chaussé was joined by Sacramento Mayor Kevin McCarty, Sacramento City Historian Ty Smith, Old Sacramento Waterfront District Manager Chelsea Evans and numerous Sacramento residents to cut the ribbon and officially reopen the store.
